Frequently Asked Questions
What is Ninth Anomaly?
Ninth Anomaly is a digital archive dedicated to exploring the unexplained. Think of it as a budding modern Library of Alexandria for the mysterious and the unproven.
What kind of topics do you cover?
We cover anything that sits at the edge of understanding. UFOs, cryptids, lost civilizations, unexplained scientific phenomena, consciousness, ancient myths, and more. Each post aims to compile research, evidence, and theory in one place so readers can explore both fact and speculation.
Is the information on this site verified?
Not always. Much of what’s explored here exists in the space between reality and mystery. Focusing on the unexplained comes with the notable downside of often being unable to provide definitive proof. Sources are cited when possible and evidence is presented for you to interpret. The goal is to provide the audience with the knowledge to make their own conclusions. In short, we’ll do our best to be as credible as possible. Given the nature of the content, it’s difficult to promise much more.
Is this a science site or a paranormal site?
Both. Ninth Anomaly explores where reality meets the unknown. Articles posted here will therefore contain scientifically verifiable facts as well as anecdotal evidence.
Why the name “Ninth Anomaly”?
A conversation with a friend about 3I/Atlas sparked the idea. We spoke about the ninth anomaly and they said, “that would be a cool name for a band!”.
